The Planets - A Series of Animated Loops
The Planets suite by Gustav Holst was one of my first introductions into classical music, and of course was a huge influence on modern film music - most notably Star Wars.
I wanted to create a series of short abstract animations and figured this would be the perfect source of inspiration.
I recreated and played a short looping section from each piece, then animated it, taking cues from both the music and the planet itself.
